Director Salvador Calvo presented his third feature film, 'Valley of Shadows,' at the Almería International Film Festival. The film tells the story of Quique, Clara, and little Lucas as they embark on their first vacation together in northern India and are attacked by bandits.
The cast includes Miguel Herrán, Susana Abaitua, and Alexandra Masangkay. The film is inspired by true events and will be released on January 12, distributed by Buena Vista International. Despite the challenges of filming in high altitudes, the production was safe and accident-free. The director emphasized the need for Spanish cinema to move away from the traditional release schedule.
